Dracula Theme Park3p:

Hey...what do you guys think about this new theme park idea? Would you ever go to it? Do you think a lot of people would go? What kind of tourists do you think it would attract? All in all, do you think it is a good idea to build a dracula theme park?

I think that the construction of a Dracula related theme park would be really cool actually, provide alot of fun rides and things for the kiddies. Also, it would help the town with the unemployment rate, it would give about 3000 jobs to many people. And if people in the town think that it will hurt the moral value about it, they can go cry, because they will be giving jobs to many people who need them, like the homeless and the suffering. Go for it!

Dracula theme park is too scary for me. I wouldn't go. There would be a lot of vampires there. A theme park is a place where everything is happy and fun and theres always happy music playing. A Dracula theme park would be so evil and not fun, and I don't think it would attract a family atmosphere. BAD IDEA

THIS SITE IS USING THE Woodlands THEME

I would go to this park, but not if it was all the way over there in another country. I do think though that this would help that city with getting more people jobs and it would get a lot of tourism because of the fact that it's such a different theme park. I would like it because it's scary and I like scary thigs like Halloween which is 30days away if you didn't know.

I read the article and I think the real issue is not so much whether or not the park would sell or attract, but what it would mean to the citizens. I have mixed feelings about the idea. The idea of building a theme park for more jobs is good, but if it damages the environment and the historic culture, then I have to wonder...

Theme parks are cool and everything, but i kind of think that we have enough of them now. I think that they are a waste of areas that dont need to be developed. Dont get me wrong i like them and eveything but i dont think that we need anymore. We have enough.

Its a damn shame. It is true that Translyvania is suffering from unemployment, but it is an incredibly historic area and just because a few people do not have jobs they are gonna tear down something beautiful for a few slides and coasters. Bram Stoker is rolling around in his grave. How do historians feel? "OH LOOK THERE IS CASTLE DRACULA, THE ONE FROM BRAM STOKERS CLASSIC NOVEL. AND RIGHT NEXT TO IT IS THE FANG SLIDE!" plesase! This is ridiculous. How many people generally plan trips to Translyvania and how many are actually going to go if there is a 2 bit theme park? You can't even catch a plane into Translyvania its so small. KEEP IT TRADITIONAL!

Sure, this is a good idea for a theme park if you are a gothic type of a person, and needless to say a majority of the American people are not gothic. However, it might be very successful if implimented during the Halloween season, but that would be the only time of true profit before it is made into a parking lot.

I don't think the theme park should be made. It'd just be a place for freaks to gather, and more problems would arise for the citizens of Transylvania. I agree with Andy and Nadine; it's definitely up to the citizens. True, they do have employment problems, but there can be other ways to solve that. Building a gothed-up Great Adventure won't help. I think that it really wouldn't attract that many foreign people, so the money wouldn't really be coming in. Over time, people will get sick of it and once again the citizens will be out of work. And also, who ever said that they'd want to work at a gothic theme park? There can be other possibilities.

I am split on this issue. On one hand, I think that they should build the park to give people jobs because the park would create 9000 jobs. I also think that maybe the park should not be built because it would destroy a truely historic area. I am stronger to not build the park because historic sites are not something that can be moved or rebuilt.

I think that building a theme park in is not the solution to the problem, although it would create jobs, it would destroy the environment which would be horrible for the future.

There are a few issues here, I think. First of all, I hate seeing things being built. It's just depressing to see an amusement park be put up, in my opinion. Sure, the amusement park would probably be a lot of fun, but is it really necessary? I don't agree with it symbolizing something evil. I think that the concept itself if harmless, and I don't see it as sending a bad message to children. If you're going to go to a dracula theme park, you should expect it to be a little spooky. There's also the issue of employing people, but I think that Transylvania can think of other ways besides a huge theme park.
